Banishing

Banishing is designed to remove an unwanted person, presence, influence or energy from your space and create separation between you and what you no longer wish to have access to you. Unlike Protection, which creates a boundary against unwanted influence, Banishing is used when something is already present and you want it gone.

This working may be used for unwanted individuals, persistent energetic influences, unhealthy environments or situations that continue intruding upon your life. The intention is customised around what needs to leave and the degree of separation required.

OPTIONS
BASIC BANISHING
A simpler working focused on removing one clearly identified person, energy or influence from your space. A customised sigil is created specifically for the working, alongside removal of blockages directly preventing separation and protection placed around the spell itself. No additional herbs, crystals, oils or ritual ingredients are used.

Best suited for straightforward situations where the intention is simply to create distance, close access and encourage an unwanted influence to move away.

ADVANCED BANISHING
A more extensive working for situations where the unwanted influence is persistent, deeply established or repeatedly finds its way back into your life. Rather than focusing solely on removal, the ritual can work more extensively on weakening the pathways that allow the influence to remain connected to you and reinforcing the separation afterwards.

The working includes a customised sigil, more extensive blockage removal, road opening where required to create pathways away from the situation, protection around the spell and an extensive selection of banishing and protective herbs, oils, crystals and other ritual ingredients chosen specifically for the working.

WHAT THIS WORKING DOES NOT DO
Banishing is about removal and separation, not punishment. Its purpose is to get something out of your space rather than cause harm to the person or influence being removed.

It is also different from Cord Cutting. Cord Cutting releases the energetic attachment connecting you to something; Banishing removes its presence or influence from your space. Where both attachment and continued interference exist, the two may be recommended together.

Banishing also cannot replace practical boundaries. If you continue inviting someone back into your life, maintaining unnecessary contact or giving them continued access after the working, you may recreate the very pathway you asked to close.

HOW MAGICK WORKS
Banishing can manifest through increasing distance, reduced contact, changing circumstances, loss of access, shifting priorities or situations naturally developing in a way that separates you from the unwanted influence.

The exact route cannot be micromanaged. The intention is separation; the route taken to create that separation may differ from what you expect. For situations where you are concerned about the unwanted influence returning, Banishing + Protection may be recommended together: one removes what is already present, while the other strengthens the boundary afterwards.
